The NMRW started operating in this region in 2018. With 102 members across 13 projects, activities include: gardening, broilers, bakeries, bricks, beads, pottery, piggeries and sewing projects.
Located in the Rathidili Village, the project started in January 2013 and consists of five members. Members bake muffins and scones, with the latter being their most sought-after product. They also make cakes to order. The goods are sold daily at a market in town. Since May 2018, the NMRW has helped the members by providing them with two stoves, a mixer and the building of structure that houses their office, storeroom and baking room. They have managed to earn a monthly salary and have accrued enough profit to extend their structure and dig a borehole.
