Nala Poultry

Nala Poultry project is based in the Thabakhubedu Village in Moutse East, Limpopo. Consisting of seven members, the project began in 2005 and has been assisted by the NMRW since 2011. The project raises and sells chickens to their surrounding community. They have gone from strength to strength over the years, and, with the help of the NMRW, the members have started building a storeroom, they have accrued savings, and they each earn a monthly salary. While the COVID-19 crisis wreaked havoc on the world, it is wonderful to note that Nala Poultry managed to stay afloat and continue earning money throughout the national lockdown.
