In the Kwa-Zulu Natal province, the NMRW has projects in the Nongoma and Nquthu regions.
The NMRW started working in this region in 2015. As of 2020, there are a total of 17 projects and 123 members. The projects include: 3 gardens, 1 bakery, 1 piggery, 5 beads/craft projects, 2 poultry (1 layer and 1 broiler) projects, 1 cleaning detergents project, and 4 sewing projects.
The NMRW has been operating in this region since October 2018. As of 2020, there are 15 projects with a total of 79 members involved in: 2 bakeries, 4 piggeries, 2 brick projects, 2 beads/craft projects, 1 garden, 2 broilers and 1 cleaning detergent project.
The NMRW started working in this region in May 2019. To date, there are 15 projects with 86 members involved in 3 brick projects, 3 bakeries, 4 poultry projects (2 layers and 2 broilers), 1 piggery, 1 craft project, and 3 garden projects.
The NMRW started working in this region in October 2020. With a total of 4 projects, there are 24 members involved in 1 broiler, 1 piggery, 1 bead/craft project and 1 bakery. This is a new region for the NMRW and as such, we are still in the project selection phase.
